1. Cookies and similar technologies
StoresOmni LLC uses cookies and related technologies on its platform and StoresOmni-powered websites/storefronts. Cookies are browser-held text records. Local storage, session storage, authentication SDK storage such as IndexedDB, and browser/server identifiers can also support the Services. This Policy explains their purposes and controls alongside our Privacy Policy. Merchant-added technologies and independent provider interfaces may have their own notices.
2. Necessary functions, preferences, and optional measurement
Strictly necessary technologies support StoresOmni authentication and session integrity, security and verification, guest access, carts, checkout state, order access, and remembering consent. Rejecting optional analytics does not disable these necessary functions. Guest device/session access does not itself create a registered StoresOmni account. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in, checkout, or order access.
Preference storage remembers choices such as appearance, shipping country, or storefront/checkout settings. A preference directly requested by a user may be stored to provide that choice; it is not advertising. Optional storefront analytics measures visits, page/product interactions, cart/checkout journeys, session/device categories and configured geographic signals only when tracking is enabled and analytics consent is granted. Transactional commerce reports, essential security logs, and order records support operational functions independently of optional browsing analytics.
Consent controls include a marketing category for optional configured activity; its presence does not mean an advertising network is active. Merchant-added marketing or third-party tools remain subject to required notices, consents, and the Merchant's responsibilities. Terms acceptance or account creation does not select optional cookie categories.
3. Principal browser storage
Platform consent is remembered under storesomni_cookie_consent and storefront choices under storesomni_storefront_consent. Appearance preferences may use storesomni_theme; checkout/shipping choices may use preferred_shipping_country and other relevant cart or checkout state. These are local browser settings rather than a universal preference for every browser or site.
Firebase authentication uses its applicable browser/session persistence to maintain identity and access. Storefront Google sign-in across a custom domain uses brief browser session state to complete the chosen sign-in/signup securely. Guest order references use guest_orders_{storeId}, and guest access may use guest_order_access_{storeId}_{orderId}. Keep devices and order links private; these records support access to applicable orders.
When storefront analytics is enabled and consented, storesomni_analytics_visitor_{storeId}, storesomni_analytics_session_{storeId}, and storesomni_analytics_identity_{storeId} support store-scoped visitor/session and authorized customer attribution. Withdrawal removes these browser analytics identifiers and stops optional tracking. Existing server events, aggregates and transactional records follow the Privacy Policy's retention criteria; clearing an identifier is not deletion of all previously recorded data.
Session storage ordinarily ends with its browser session; local storage can persist until cleared, replaced, expired by the relevant feature, or removed by the browser/user. Authentication and third-party technology durations depend on their settings. We do not promise a universal cookie lifetime or assume every device uses all of these technologies.
4. Third-party technologies
Firebase/Google supports authentication and related infrastructure. The shared StoresOmni browser client does not initialize Firebase Analytics. Optional storefront measurement uses StoresOmni's configured consent-controlled analytics. Google sign-in and PayPal or Stripe checkout interfaces, when selected, may use provider technology for authentication, payment integrity, fraud prevention, and their own legal duties under their notices. Provider behavior can differ from first-party browser storage.
Transactional email, server-side AI, tax adapters, and email routing are not described as browser-cookie providers merely because they process information. See our Subprocessor and Service Provider List for their data roles. A Merchant's independently installed scripts or integrations are its responsibility and may require additional controls.
5. Choosing and withdrawing preferences
Optional categories default off in StoresOmni consent interfaces. Where shown, banners let you accept optional categories, reject them, or save choices. Reopen Cookie preferences on the relevant site using its available footer/settings control to change or withdraw choices. Platform and storefront choices can be separate and apply to the browser and site/origin where saved; changing one does not automatically change every other store or device.
You may clear or block cookies, local/session storage, or authentication persistence through your browser settings. Clearing consent memory may cause another preference prompt. StoresOmni does not currently automatically recognize Global Privacy Control signals. Use the site controls or contact privacy@storesomni.com for applicable privacy requests; Merchant-specific requests should also be directed to the Merchant. Withdrawal does not affect lawful earlier processing or necessary order/account functions.
6. Updates
We may revise this Policy as technologies and available functions change and provide additional notice or seek consent where required. The effective/last updated date is shown above. Contact privacy@storesomni.com about StoresOmni technology or the applicable Merchant about its independently configured tools.
